How did you get started in this?
There were things that happened while I was in the traditional medical system that I didn't understand/wasn't taught/couldn't get explanations for. Once I "retired" from working as a pediatrician (to stay at home with my small children) I had time to investigate. I became fascinated with all of the information available regarding alternative health practices, and I received the answers I had been searching for. It all made much more sense to me, so I basically started all over in my training. I read every book and listened to every tape/video/DVD/cd I could get my hands on. I went to as many seminars/workshops/trainings that I could. The more I learned, the more everything fit together. For years I practiced what I had learned with family and friends. What I discovered, is that everything is energy. However, some techniques work better for certain issues. So, eventually I developed my own system that I call Energy Restoration-which is a combination of all of the techniques I have learned.
Is this covered by insurance?/Do you take medicare?
Unfortunately, I do not know of any company in our area that will cover energy work. (Some forms are covered on the West coast, but it may take a while for that to happen in the Midwest.)
How long is an ER session?/How many sessions will I need?
There is no way to predict, as every session is different-it really depends upon the person and the issue. However, most people need to come only once, and the average session is around an hour. (Sometimes it's less than 15 minutes...and occasionally, after working for 1 1/2 hours, we need to set up a second session.)
Do I have to believe in this stuff for it to work?
No, the person does not have to believe it will work- they just have to be open to the possibility that it may help, and then be willing to work with me. Seeing as each person is in charge of their own energy system, I cannot help them if they are resistant to change. However, if the person comes in with an open attitude, they frequently leave with the comment "I can't believe it!"
