Our 24/7 Stirwand Story
In 1998 we built our house, which uses water from a well. My kids did not like the taste or smell of the well water and refused to drink it. I tried every filter and "fix" that was recommended...but the kids still would not drink the tap water, and I eventually ended up buying bottled water. Over ten years later, I bought a 24/7 Stirwand, put it in a jug of our well water and set it in the refrigerator. I asked my daughter to taste a glass of the water that came from the jug. She said, "it's not from the well, is it?" I asked her to just try it....so she held her nose and took a small sip. Then, she let go of her nose and drank some more and said, "this water is really good!" In the past, I worried that she never drank enough fluids, and what little she did drink was not good for her. Now, she drinks a lot of water-the well water from the jug with the Stirwand-and says "I just can't get enough, it's so good!" Similar stories with my other children. I no longer have to buy bottled water-yay!-I just have to keep the jug filled. In fact, I recently bought a larger jug-so I don't have to refill it so often. I've also noticed that when I fill the dog and cat bowls from the nearby sink, that water will sit most of the day. However, if I use the water from the jug it seems to go quickly, and I need to refill their bowls a number of times throughout the day. :)
